These bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers are the ultimate spicy snack, featuring crispy bacon, creamy cheese filling, and a fiery kick. Perfect for parties, game days, or a late-night treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 medium-sized fresh jalapeños
  • 8 ounces full-fat cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 16 thin-cut bacon strips
  • Toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes using a spoon. Leave some seeds for extra spice if desired.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until smooth.
  4. Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeño half, ensuring an even layer of filling.
  5. Wrap each jalapeño half with a strip of bacon, overlapping slightly. Secure the bacon with a toothpick.
  6. Arrange the poppers on the prepared baking sheet (or wire rack). Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the filling is bubbling.
  7. Let the poppers rest for 5 minutes before serving to avoid burning your mouth on the hot cheese filling.

Notes

For extra crispy bacon, broil the poppers for 1-2 minutes after baking. Adjust the spice level by removing seeds or using milder peppers. Taste the filling before stuffing the jalapeños to adjust seasonings as needed.
