This Loaded Ranch BLT Dip combines creamy ranch, sharp cheddar, crispy bacon, and fresh BLT veggies for a crowd-pleasing party appetizer. Quick to make and always a hit, it’s perfect for gatherings, game days, or anytime you need a flavor-packed snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup diced ripe tomatoes (grape or Roma)
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce (romaine or iceberg)
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions (optional)
  • Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
  • Optional garnishes: chopped parsley, extra bacon bits, paprika

Instructions

  1. Lay 8 slices of bacon on a cold skillet and cook over medium heat for 8-10 minutes, flipping occasionally, until crispy. Drain on paper towels, let cool, and crumble into small bits.
  2. Dice 1 cup ripe tomatoes and shred 1 cup lettuce. Slice 1/4 cup green onions. Pat tomatoes dry with a paper towel.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, add softened cream cheese and sour cream. Beat with a hand mixer or whisk until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes. Add ranch seasoning mix and blend until fully incorporated.
  4. Add shredded cheddar cheese and half of the crumbled bacon to the ranch base. Gently fold in with a spatula.
  5. Stir in half of the diced tomatoes and half the lettuce. Sprinkle in sliced green onions and a pinch of cracked black pepper. Reserve remaining bacon, tomatoes, and lettuce for garnish.
  6. Spoon the dip into your serving dish. Top evenly with remaining bacon, tomatoes, lettuce, and green onions. Add extra cheddar or chopped parsley if desired.
  7. Cover and chill for 30 minutes for best flavor, or serve immediately if short on time.

Notes

For best texture, add lettuce and tomatoes just before serving. Pat tomatoes dry to prevent a watery dip. Use block cheddar for better melt and flavor. For a warm version, bake the blended dip (without lettuce and tomato) at 350°F for 15 minutes, then top with veggies and bacon. Adaptable for vegetarian, low-carb, and dairy-free diets with simple swaps.
