Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
  • 2430 pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (or 1 small clove garlic, minced)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • 1/8 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • Pizza sauce or marinara, for dipping (optional)
  • Ranch dressing, for dipping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, melt butter and stir in garlic powder, parsley, and sea salt. Set aside.
  3. Open pizza dough and lay flat on a lightly floured surface. Stretch into a rectangle (about 10×14 inches).
  4. Slice dough into 8 equal strips, about 1.25 inches wide.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella down the center of each strip. Add 3–4 pepperoni slices per strip. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and Parmesan if using.
  6. Roll each strip into a tight spiral, pinching ends to seal. Place seam side down on baking sheet.
  7. Brush each roll-up generously with garlic butter.
  8. Bake for 14–16 minutes, until golden brown and bubbling. Tent with foil if browning too quickly.
  9. Let cool for 5 minutes. Brush with remaining garlic butter if desired.
  10. Serve warm with pizza sauce or ranch for dipping.

Notes

For gluten-free or dairy-free diets, substitute with GF pizza dough and vegan cheese. Add veggies like spinach or bell peppers for extra nutrition. Roll tightly and pinch ends to prevent unrolling. Brush with garlic butter before and after baking for best flavor. Freeze leftovers up to 1 month and reheat in oven for best texture.
