Ingredients

Scale
  • Refrigerated pizza dough
  • Taco seasoning
  • 1 pound ground beef (or turkey)
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • Sour cream (optional, for drizzling or dipping)
  • Cilantro (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet.
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle that fits your baking sheet. Transfer it to the baking sheet.
  3. Bake the dough for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden but not fully cooked.
  4. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef (or turkey) until browned. Stir in taco seasoning and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Once the crust is slightly cooled, spread a thin layer of refried beans over it.
  6. Evenly distribute the cooked taco-seasoned meat over the beans.
  7. Generously sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, covering the entire surface.
  8. Return the pizza to the oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Once out of the oven, top with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, and sliced black olives.
  10. Use a pizza cutter to slice the taco pizza into appetizer-sized squares. Serve with sour cream or salsa for dipping.
