A quick and easy 5-ingredient party favorite dip combining crispy bacon, spicy jalapeños, and creamy cheese for a crowd-pleasing appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked crispy and chopped
  • 23 fresh jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Drain on paper towels and chop into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Wash and dry jalapeños, slice in half, remove seeds and membranes if desired, then finely chop.
  4. In a medium bowl, soften cream cheese using a hand mixer or spatula until smooth. Add mayonnaise and mix until combined.
  5. Fold in shredded cheddar cheese and chopped jalapeños gently.
  6. Stir in most of the chopped bacon, reserving some for topping.
  7. Spoon mixture into an 8×8 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until hot, bubbly, and golden on top.
  9. Remove from oven, sprinkle reserved bacon on top, and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Softening cream cheese before mixing prevents lumps. Cook bacon until just crispy but not burnt. Adjust jalapeño heat by removing seeds or adding more. Let dip rest after baking to thicken and ease scooping. Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
