  • 1/2 teaspoon mint extract
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup, plus extra for drizzling
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
  • A handful of chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips (for garnish)
  • 23 ice cubes (optional, for thicker shake)
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional, for muddling)

Instructions

  1. Chill your serving glass in the fridge or freezer for about 10 minutes.
  2. Add 2 cups (480 ml) vanilla ice cream to the blender.
  3. Pour in 1/2 cup (120 ml) milk.
  4. Add 3 ounces (90 ml) Baileys Irish Cream.
  5. Add 1/2 teaspoon mint extract and 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup.
  6. Optionally add 2-3 ice cubes for a thicker, colder shake.
  7. Blend on high for 30-45 seconds until creamy and smooth, scraping down sides if needed.
  8. Taste and add more mint extract or chocolate syrup if desired, then pulse a few seconds more.
  9. Pour into the chilled glass.
  10. Top generously with whipped cream and sprinkle with chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips.
  11. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

Chill the glass beforehand to keep the milkshake cold longer. Use high-quality vanilla ice cream for best texture. Start with a small amount of mint extract to avoid overpowering the flavor.
