  • 4 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons honey (raw or wildflower preferred)
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Optional garnishes: chopped fresh herbs (thyme, oregano), toasted pine nuts, extra honey drizzle

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by leaving it at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  2. Place crumbled feta and softened cream cheese into a food processor. Pulse a few times for 1-2 minutes to start breaking down the cheese.
  3. Add Greek yogurt, honey, and lemon juice. Process for another 1-2 minutes until smooth and creamy with an airy but scoopable texture.
  4. With the processor running on low speed, slowly drizzle in olive oil to emulsify the dip. Stop and scrape down the sides as needed.
  5. Add red pepper flakes and freshly ground black pepper. Pulse a few times to combine. Taste and adjust spice level carefully.
  6. If the dip is too thick, add a teaspoon of water or more Greek yogurt to loosen slightly and blend briefly.
  7. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Garnish with extra honey drizzle, fresh herbs, or toasted pine nuts if desired. Serve immediately or chill for 30 minutes to meld flavors.

Notes

Soften cream cheese well before blending to avoid lumps. Pulse cheese in short bursts to prevent gummy texture. Drizzle honey and olive oil slowly for smooth emulsification. Adjust spice gradually to avoid overpowering. Soak feta in cold water for 10 minutes if too salty. Best served at room temperature. Can be prepared up to 24 hours ahead and refrigerated.
