Instructions

  1. Freeze the Bananas: Peel and slice 3 large ripe bananas into coins about 1/2 inch thick. Place them in a freezer-safe container or bag and freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  2. Prepare the Chocolate Drizzle: In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey, 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil, and a pinch of sea salt until smooth and glossy. Set aside at room temperature.
  3. Blend the Nice Cream Base: Add frozen banana slices to a high-speed blender or food processor along with 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and 2 tablespoons almond milk. Pulse and scrape down the sides as needed until silky and soft-serve consistency is reached (about 3-5 minutes). Add more almond milk if needed, but avoid making it runny.
