Ingredients

Scale
  • Handful of fresh cranberries for garnish

  • 0.5 ounces simple syrup (homemade or store-bought)
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1 ounce orange liqueur
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish and infusion

Instructions

  1. Prepare the rosemary simple syrup: Combine 1 cup of water, 1 cup of sugar, and 2-3 sprigs of fresh rosemary in a small saucepan. Simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat, let cool completely, and strain to remove rosemary sprigs.

  3. Muddle a sprig of fresh rosemary in a cocktail shaker to release its aroma.
  4. Add 2 ounces of vodka, 1 ounce of orange liqueur, 2 ounces of cranberry juice, and 0.5 ounces of rosemary simple syrup into the shaker. Fill with ice and shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
  5. Strain the mixture into a prepared glass filled with ice.
  6. Top with club soda or sparkling water to taste.
  7. Garnish with a handful of fresh cranberries and a sprig of rosemary.
