  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (200g) chopped Kit Kat bars
  • 1 cup (200g) chocolate chunks

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Beat in eggs, one at a time, and add vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  6. Fold in chopped Kit Kat bars and chocolate chunks using a spatula or wooden spoon.
  7. Use a cookie scoop or spoon to drop heaping tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden. The centers may look slightly undercooked but will set as they cool.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
