A quick and easy seven-layer dip combining creamy, cheesy, and fresh veggie layers, perfect for game days and parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce
  • 1/2 cup guacamole
  • 2 tablespoons diced jalapeños (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, blend 8 ounces of softened cream cheese with 1 cup of sour cream and 1 tablespoon of taco seasoning until smooth and well combined (3-5 minutes).
  2. Spread 1 cup of refried beans evenly at the bottom of your serving bowl, smoothing the surface (about 2 minutes).
  3. Carefully spoon and spread the cream cheese and sour cream mixture over the beans without disturbing the bottom layer (3 minutes).
  4. Combine 1 cup shredded cheddar and 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, then sprinkle evenly over the creamy layer (2 minutes).
  5. Layer 1 cup chopped lettuce, 1 cup diced tomatoes (drained), 1/4 cup sliced black olives, and 1/4 cup chopped green onions on top (5 minutes).
  6. Spoon 1/2 cup guacamole over the veggie layer (2 minutes).
  7. If desired, sprinkle diced jalapeños over the guacamole layer (1 minute).
  8. Cover and refrigerate the dip for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

Let cream cheese soften for at least 30 minutes before mixing to avoid lumps. Drain tomatoes well to prevent sogginess. Layer gently to keep distinct colors. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving. Taste and adjust seasoning in the cream cheese mixture as needed. Optional jalapeños add heat. Use a small offset spatula for neat layering.
