Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Fruit: Peel and slice 2 large bananas, then freeze them overnight or for at least 6 hours. Make sure strawberries and raspberries are frozen as well.
  2. Toast the Almonds: In a dry skillet over medium heat, toast a handful of raw almonds for 3-4 minutes until fragrant and golden. Stir often to avoid burning. Set aside to cool.
  3. Blend the Base: In your high-speed blender or food processor, combine frozen bananas, frozen strawberries, frozen raspberries, ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and maple syrup if using.
