Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240 ml) Greek yogurt (full-fat or 2%)
  • 1 cup (150 g) fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 12 tsp (510 ml) honey
  • ½ tsp (2.5 ml) vanilla extract (optional)
  • 2 tbsp (15 g) toasted almonds, sliced or chopped
  • ¼ cup (30 g) granola
  • A pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp (5 g) chia seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse 1 cup (150 g) fresh strawberries under cold water. Pat dry and slice into ¼ inch thick pieces. Set aside.
  2. Toast 2 tbsp (15 g) sliced almonds in a small skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently until golden and fragrant. Remove and let cool.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup (240 ml) Greek yogurt with 1-2 tsp (5-10 ml) honey and ½ tsp (2.5 ml) vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and slightly glossy.
  4. Spoon the honey-vanilla yogurt mixture into a serving bowl or jar, spreading evenly.
  5. Arrange sliced strawberries on top of the yogurt.
  6. Sprinkle toasted almonds, ¼ cup (30 g) granola, and a pinch of cinnamon over the strawberries. Add 1 tsp (5 g) chia seeds if desired.
  7. Drizzle a little extra honey over everything for a glossy finish.
  8. Serve immediately or chill for 10-15 minutes if preferred cooler.

Notes

Use ripe strawberries for best flavor. Toast almonds carefully to avoid burning. For vegan version, substitute Greek yogurt with plant-based yogurt and honey with maple syrup or agave nectar. Add nut butter for extra richness if desired. Serve chilled or at room temperature. Store leftovers in airtight container up to 24 hours; add crunchy toppings fresh before serving.
