Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese using a hand mixer or stand mixer until smooth and creamy. This should take about 2–3 minutes.
  2. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the bowl. Beat again until fully incorporated, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  3. Using a spatula, gently fold in the whipped topping. Be careful not to deflate it—this step keeps the dip light and fluffy.
  4. Stir in most of the patriotic sprinkles, leaving a small amount for garnish. Mix just until the sprinkles are evenly distributed.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl and top with the remaining sprinkles for decoration.
  6. Serve immediately with your choice of dippers, or refrigerate for up to 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld together.
