A quick and easy sparkling lemonade punch with a playful cotton candy twist, perfect for spring parties and casual gatherings. Light, refreshing, and visually delightful.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup (150 g) granulated sugar
  • 1 cup (240 ml) water
  • 4 cups (950 ml) cold sparkling water
  • 1/2 cup (50 g) classic pink cotton candy
  • Lemon slices for garnish
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Make the Simple Syrup: Combine 3/4 cup granulated sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
  2. Juice the Lemons: While the syrup cools, squeeze enough lemons to get about 1 cup of fresh lemon juice. Strain to remove seeds.
  3. Mix Lemonade Base: In a large glass punch bowl or pitcher, combine the cooled simple syrup and fresh lemon juice. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Add Sparkling Water: Pour in 4 cups of cold sparkling water. Stir lightly to mix without losing the fizz.
  5. Prepare the Cotton Candy: Just before serving, place about 1/2 cup of cotton candy on top of the punch. It will slowly dissolve, sweetening the lemonade naturally.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Float thin lemon slices and fresh mint leaves on top. Serve immediately in pretty glasses.

Notes

Add cotton candy just before serving to preserve fizz and visual effect. Keep sparkling water cold for best bubbles. Adjust sweetness by adding more lemon juice or simple syrup as needed. Prepare lemonade base ahead and refrigerate up to 2 days; add sparkling water and cotton candy before serving.
